Vancouver, April 24-26, 2019 - From April 24th to 26th, Languages Canada (LC), and over 80 LC member programs attended the ICEF Vancouver Workshop to promote Canadian English and French language education.
Languages Canada delivered a presentation on "How to Improve Student Applications from your Agency" to a large crowd of agents, highlighting how students and agents can better prepare their applications to study English and/or French in Canada.
The workshop provided the opportunity to connect with key agencies from Russia, Ukraine, Eastern Europe, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Vietnam, and China – all target countries for Languages Canada international affairs initiatives in 2019 and 2020.
The workshop included a presentation on The Canada Course for Education Agents (CCEA), delivered by Sarah Mines, VP for Global Sales at ICEF and Bonnie McKie, Executive Director at CAPS-I. The CCEA is jointly owned by Languages Canada, CAPS-I and ICEF, and provides education agents with a strong foundation in the education systems and processes for international students in Canada. To date, more than 800 agents have achieved the designation of Canada Course Graduate (CCG.) LC members can identify CCGs here – a useful resource when looking for new agent partnerships.
